Manage Redirects

Set up redirects for your Scroll Viewport site. Currently, we offer two ways to set up redirects: literal and fallback redirects.

Literal redirects are helpful for overwriting other Viewport URLs. This will allow you to maintain more stable links or control your users' flow through the help center beyond the options provided by Viewport.

Fallback redirects are ideal to recover broken Scroll Viewport links (e.g. for deleted articles) by pointing your users to alternative content. This can be useful if you have removed a previously widely shared article from your site and know that many users will end up on a 404 page.

A fallback redirect can redirect whole groups of pages, while a literal always just applies to a single page.

Create and manage redirects for your Scroll Viewport site under Site Settings.
