Overview on the Available Styles

Scroll Word Exporter uses Word styles in custom templates to match the formatting in Confluence to the formatting in exported Word documents. You can customize the formatting of exports by modifying the Word styles in your template.

To let Scroll Word Exporter handle the matching of the styles, you need to add specifically named Scroll styles in your Word template as displayed in the tables below:

Heading Styles 

Confluence heading levels are matched in Word exports by adding the related Scroll Paragraph Styles to a custom template. You can define the output of the following headings:

Bulleted List Styles 

Confluence unordered list levels are matched in Word exports by adding the related Scroll Paragraph Styles to a custom template. You can define the output of the following bulleted lists for up to eight list levels:

Confluence ordered list levels are matched in Word exports by adding the related Scroll Paragraph Styles to a custom template. You can define the output of the following numbered lists for up to eight list levels:

Table Styles 

The styling of specific macros and the Quote paragraph style in Word exports is achieved by adding the related Scroll Table Styles to a custom template. You can define the output of the following Confluence elements by using the correct Scroll Table Styles:

 (warning) This table style is used for default Confluence tables. Text in tables can be styled via modifying the Table style.

You can also use the Scroll Table Layout Macro to assign different table styles to your tables in Confluence.

Please note, if your Code Block macro in Confluence has a title enabled, this content will be rendered into a Code Block caption. 

Additionally, if a theme is enabled for the Code Block macro in Confluence, this style will take precedence over the defined Word template table style.
