2023-03-16

We are pleased to announce the release of Scroll Viewport 2023-03-16 which is an improvement and bug fix release.

With this release we’re continuing to improve the display of content on article pages. This release includes a series of improvements to tables to make them easier to read in the new layout.

We have also added more customization options for embedding In-App help.

We have also started to roll out an improved site updating process to specific customers. This new process will make site generations much faster (under certain conditions).

Highlights

Easier to read tables

To make tables easier to read, even if they are very wide or have lots of columns, we’ve made some changes:

  • Wide tables get a horizontal scrolling indicator (a shadow on the sides)

  • Table columns have a minimum width

  • Unordered and ordered lists take up less space inside table cells

  • Images inside table cells are vertically aligned to the top

  • Sortable tables have a new sort icon that is better aligned with text

  • Table header cells have a border (analog to the body cells)

  • Numbered tables have a numbered column with the same background as the header row

Also, the attachment macro which is displayed as a table in Viewport is now aligned with the table style (the table borders where missing).

We’ll be including further improvements to table widths in our upcoming releases! If you have feedback, please don’t hesitate to reach out via help@k15t.com
