We are pleased to announce the release of Scroll Viewport 2021-07-13 which is a feature, improvement and bug fix release.
In this release we introduce a new integration with Atlassian’s Statuspage. The integration allows you to communicate incidents to your user directly in your help center.
This release also includes bug fixes, a more user-friendly way to add and manage redirects and a new theme editor option that allows you to define content source categories on your portal page.
Instant Status Updates Direct to Your Users
Keep your users up to date with any outage, downtime or maintenance incidents with your systems by embedding incident messages directly into your help center.
Scroll Viewport now integrates with Atlassian Statuspage. Once set up, Statuspage will provide pop-ups on your help center when such incidents occur, so your users will be informed straight away.
You can customize how the Statuspage updates appear on your help center, to fit the look and feel of your brand.
Organize the Content Sources on Your Portal Page into Categories
Until now, when you defined the order of your content source tiles in the portal page, you were able to optionally set a heading above the tiles section. Now, you can define more than one heading to organize your tiles into different categories.
Find the new option in the Theme Editor (Edit Theme → Templates → Portal → Tiles Ordering).
Adding and Managing Redirects Got Easier
Creating and managing redirects is now more intuitive, especially for users without a technical background. Instead of writing redirects into a configuration field, you can now add redirects using a simple form and configure the values by searching through your site’s pages.
