Scroll Viewport Cloud 2021-12-07

We are pleased to announce the release of Scroll Viewport 2021-12-07 which is an improvement and bug fix release.

In this release we introduce support for the content by label macro as a ‘related articles’ feature.

We have also fixed a bug with excerpt include macros and the cookie notice:

Excerpt include macros don’t require an excerpt name anymore to display correctly in your site.
When your site visitors accept cookies with the built-in cookie notice, we now automatically reload the page so that any data tracking that you’ve enabled for the site (e.g. via Google Analytics) can start right away.

Show related articles with the content by label macro

With this release we’ve improved how the content by label macro displays in Scroll Viewport, to make it usable in the help center. We have styled the macro and started to clean up the resulting list of content to only include pages:

The content by label macro comes in handy when you want to show and reference a list of related articles from your Viewport site. Use the macro at the end of your articles, to point your site visitors to the next most interesting or helpful pieces of content in the site.

Does the macro list and link to pages that don’t exist in your Viewport site? In our next release, we’ll improve filtering of the macro to prevent this from happening. Until then, use the filter that’s built into the macro’s configuration to remove any unwanted references.
