Highlights

SAML Single Sign-On: Participate in our beta testing!

Exclusively available for early testers, Scroll Viewport now allows you to protect your help center with a Single Sign-On solution. Once authenticated in one application, your users will be able to access the help center without having to authenticate again (as long as their session is not expired).

How to get early access?

In a first beta release, you can integrate with identity providers that support the SAML 2.0 protocol. If you would like to test out the beta feature, contact us via help@k15t.com with the subject “SAML Single Sign-On Beta Testing” and we will get in touch with you!

Is this feature for me?

Choosing SAML as your site authentication method is ideal if you don’t want to expose your documentation to the public and already have an existing user directory that you want to integrate with.

You avoid managing additional user credentials just for your help center and will be able to provide a much more seamless navigation experience for your help center visitors.

Please note that this feature requires that you manage your directories with an identity provider (IdP) that supports the SAML 2.0 protocol.

Canonical URLs for further search engine optimization

With this release we start reporting canonical URLs for pages of your help center. This will effectively improve SEO for your Viewport site, as duplicate content that is available on multiple URLs stops being an issue for search engines.

For example, you won't see /contentsource and /contentsource/index.html flagged as duplicates anymore because /contentsource/index.html is now marked as the original source of the content.
