We are pleased to announce the release of Scroll Viewport 2020-09-16 which is an improvement release.

With this release, you can now view tables in full screen from your Scroll Viewport site articles. Simply click on the zoom button located at the top-right corner of each table.

We also improved the Help Center theme's search behaviour by adding the option to filter between a specific or all content sources.

Within the app, we improved the changelog which now opens in a modal dialog by clicking on the number of changes in your content source table.

Theme

Feature RequestVPC-41 - Full Table Overlay Resolved

The new ‘Full Table Overlay’ feature now allows your users to click an expand button that will appear on the top-right corner of tables within your documentation. This then opens the table full screen, so that they can read all of the content with ease, without having to scroll horizontally across your help center page. The user then clicks the exit button to go back to the article page to continue reading, which provides a much more seamless user experience.

Previously, the content was cut off until a user scrolled horizontally to view all contents within the table, then the user would have to scroll back to the original position to continue reading the rest of the content on the page.

The button will only appear for tables that have more content than the width of the page will allow. E.g. if you had a table which only had two columns with a few words inside each cell, the button would not show, as the content fits within the article page neatly.
