Scroll PDF Exporter 5.5

We are pleased to announce the release of Scroll PDF Exporter 5.5.0 which is an improvement and bugfix release.

This new minor version introduces a change to the layout of the template editor to make it easier for users to navigate to their chosen template settings and/or export properties. Additionally, we have added some export improvements for users of the Variants for Scroll Documents extension app and have also now introduced the option to add symbols in the template editor.

Furthermore, we have fixed some issues which affected the Scroll Table Layout macro and also the Code Block macro.

New Template Editor Layout

The previous Properties section in the template editor has now been split into two categories, Template Settings and Export Properties. This was done to better reflect the options that are available in the editor that can either affect the template format specifically (Template Settings) or control how certain content is handled/output in the generated export (Export Properties).

New option to add Symbols

We have now introduced the option to add symbols to the pages in the Document Sections. Additionally, we have added the option for users to add a fallback font - this will prevent export issues in cases where the chosen font for a template style does not support symbol characters.
