How Can I get the REST URL before Export?

Question

How can I get the REST URL without having to export a large number of pages?

Answer

1. Open a page (in the same space) with no child pages

2. Export the page to HTML using the defined Export Scheme

3. After this select the copy REST URL option in the post-export dialogue

4. Open the actual root page of your export and copy the pageID of this page. To do so, click Page tools ••• > Page Information and copy the pageID from the URL field
   

   

5. Then, insert this pageID into the REST URL received from step 1.

You have successfully defined the root page and the desired Export Scheme ID and you can now use this REST URL to export your content.
