Disable Usage Tracking for a User

Scroll Documents tracks user behaviour to allow better product decisions based on these insights. This includes for example how often certain features are used and how they are used. This data is anonymized. Therefore, we cannot identify the end user this data relates to. It is exclusively used in order to improve our service.

Learn more about what information is tracked.

In case you wish to disable tracking for your id you can follow these steps -

  1. Click on your profile icon and select 'Scroll Documents Settings'. Depending on your Confluence navigation, the profile icon would either be on the top right corner, or the bottom left corner of your screen.

  2. Check the option - 'Opt-out from tracking' and click save.

This setting is stored locally in your browser and therefore needs to be re-applied if you switch browsers or delete the local browser storage. Tracking can also be disabled for your entire instance by an admin.
