We are pleased to announce the release of Backbone Issue Sync 5.0 which introduces a new look and feel and an improved experience in configuring the app.
Backbone 5.0: A New Look and Feel & Improved Configuration Experience
The latest release of Backbone Issue Sync offers an upgraded experience, making the configuration process faster and more intuitive for all users. This release introduces:
- An improved overview of your workflow mappings for better visibility and quick actions right at your fingertips
- Fewer steps to create and update your configuration
- Feedback on the mode you are in: draft, published or published with changes that haven't been published
- The ability to start and stop the configuration from within the sync
Quick and intuitive workflow mapping
Backbone enables you to define fine-grained distributed workflows between synchronized issues. With the 5.0 release, you can more easily create and configure your workflows with the improved editor experience.
You can now collapse and expand workflows as you go, preventing you from scrolling through a long list of mappings to find the one you're looking for. Issue types are also more visible so you can quickly and easily identify the right workflow configuration per issue type.
Mapping configuration made easy
When adding a new mapping for an issue type, field, default value or workflow, this newly added mapping will be highlighted.
What's more, the actions are now directly available in the same screen. Icons now replace the three dot menu for quicker access to these actions.
Stay up-to-date with the status configuration
In the configuration tab, you can now easily see which status you are in:
- Draft
- Published
- Unpublished Changes
