An issue does not get synchronized and appears in the troubleshooting section with the category 'Resolution was not found' and a message containing, e.g. 'Resolution "Done" (1) can not be found in the project ABC' or similar.


In Backbone 4.1.x we have introduced a new resolution field mapping. The passthrough mapping for resolutions is trying to map the resolutions based on their names. If a resolution from one project can not be found in another project (or instance), this error is thrown.


The following steps should be done in order to resolve this problem.

  1. Go to the resolution administration page where the resolution mapping failed
  2. Add the missing resolution by using the exact name or correct an existing resolution
  3. Clear the Backbone cache
  4. 'Retry' the error in the troubleshooting
