No project administration permissions

Symptoms

An issue does not get synchronized and appears in the troubleshooting section with the category 'No project administration permissions' and the message, e.g. 'You cannot edit the configuration of this project'.

Cause

A component was set to the issue in the sender project which does not exist in the receiving project. This can be due to an invalid mapping configuration in Backbone or missing project administration rights for the integration user.

Resolution

You can choose between the desired solutions:

• Add the integration user as project administrator, this enables backbone to automatically add missing components.
• Select another field mapping for the components field. Either
  • the Passthrough Mapping with disabled component creation
  • or the Component Field Value Mapping where you map the different project components.
